WSMTA now requires that all registrations be done online by the teacher. If you need help, please contact Margaret Eddy and she will do her best to assist you. (Students, please contact your teacher directly with questions.)

- Go to the WSMTA website:
- Login with your member number (issued by MTNA) and password. Set up new account if needed. (See link to helpful instructional video:
- Once logged in, the WSMTA dashboard is in the top menu.  Click on it, then click on "Adjudications" and register your students and yourself. You can return to this registration numerous times, but only items that have been "added to your cart" will be saved.
- You will need to pay the $5 per student "chapter fee" separate from this online transaction. One check should be made out to "Gig Harbor WSMTA" for your total chapter fee and submitted to Margaret Eddy by the January 2018 teacher meeting.

Guest Artist Bio
HyeKyeong Hannah Cho, NCTM (Piano) 
HyeKyeong Hannah Cho was born in South Korea. She finished her a Bachelor’s Degree in piano performance at Dong-A university with a full scholarship. After that she moved to Bulgaria to study with worldly famous pianist Anton Dikov.  She earned a Master Degree in music and a degree of “Konzertexamen” of piano performance in “Pancho Vladigerov- National music Academy in Sofia” (Bulgaria).  She successfully finished the collaborative piano study and the piano pedagogy program, too.

She won several competitions including the Kyung-Hyang Piano Competition, Korea Music Association piano competition, American Prize 2013 of piano solo division and the American Protégé International Competition at 2015.

She has had numerous concerts at many concert halls as a guest soloist, as a collaborative pianist and a chamber musician in Korea, Bulgaria, Japan and U.S. until present.  She was invited to perform often by several orchestras in Bulgaria and Korea, which widely broadcasted on TV and radio.  The most notable event was that she performed at Carnegie Hall in 2015.

After she moved to Olympia, WA in 2007, she has been giving benefit concerts with her performance group every year. Through these benefit concerts she received the certification of appreciation from Christine Gregoire who was the Governor of Washington State in 2009.

Currently, she is working at St. Martin’s University as a piano adjunct professor. She is also working as a pianist at Tacoma First Baptist church, WA, and as well as Olympia Choral Society.

Most of all, she has a passion for the field of “Body Mapping study for Pianists” that prevents chronicle injury that associates with pianists.

She is occasionally in demand as a performer, an adjudicator, a clinician and a piano jury in US, Korea and Bulgaria.  She also has been planning numerous concert series as a music director with fellow musicians every year.
